About poetry plays...

Based in London and established in 2024, we are a registered charity dedicated to advancing the performing arts by creating and presenting interdisciplinary work, with a particular focus on the role of poetry within the wider arts.

In 2024, we launched our first three-day festival of interdisciplinary performances, marking an important milestone in our charitable mission to foster creative dialogue, widen public access to the arts, and support innovation across artistic disciplines.

As a charity, we recognise the historical and cultural significance of traditional art forms, including ballet, opera, storytelling, and folk practices, and the ways in which these traditions continue to inform and shape evolving cultural identities. Through performances, participatory programmes, and educational initiatives, we aim to promote cultural engagement, mutual understanding, and social cohesion for  audiences and communities.

We are particularly committed to supporting interdisciplinary projects that bring together elements of historical and cultural traditions with innovative and experimental approaches. By championing work that challenges established narratives and encourages new perspectives, we seek to advance public appreciation of interdisciplinary art and ensure its continued relevance within contemporary society.
